About

Sarah Bollingmo, MA

Art and Advocacy

Sarah Bollingmo is an English-Irish writer, painter, poet and animal advocate who encourages compassion towards the more-than-human world. Her work is an invitation to appreciate the intrinsic value of animals, to observe their profound beauty and to help protect them. Sarah holds an MA in Creative Writing from Brunel University of London. Originally from Cambridgeshire, she now lives in Norway with her husband and their rescue animals.

Supporting Animals

A minimum of 15% from each sale is donated to support animal protection causes, and for select items, 100% of the proceeds are gifted. To ensure transparency, customers receive an email confirmation detailing the donation generated by their purchase. Explore the "For" section for details on the organisations that have received donations so far.

Materials

Sarah primarily uses acrylic and oil paints on responsibly sourced natural linen or cotton. As a vegan, she ensures that all her materials are strictly cruelty-free, using alternatives as needed. Every artwork comes gift-wrapped, with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Autumn 2025 Updates

One of Sarah's poems is soon to be published in a creative Irish magazine, which she'll be reading at their Dublin launch event. Currently, she is expanding Sentient Beings in exciting ways while also creating fresh artwork. She hopes you enjoy the newly added "Free Gifts" section.
